AC Spotlight: Streaming Rainbow
We sat down with Eli, the Game Master of Streaming Rainbow.
Welcome back to AC Spotlight! We recently sat down with the incredible Eli, the GM behind the vibrant and inclusive PC channel, Streaming Rainbow.
From navigating the nine circles of Hell to championing diversity in the TTRPG space, Eli shared the magic behind their storytelling style.

What is Streaming Rainbow?
If you’re a child of the 80s or 90s, the name might ring a bell. As Eli explains, it’s a direct, loving play on Reading Rainbow.
"We all remember watching Reading Rainbow as children and just feeling good about it—feeling nice about being nerds. We want to extend that feeling into the TTRPG space."
Surviving "Dante’s Inferno"
Eli currently runs a campaign based on Dante’s Inferno (using the module by Acheron Games). But they’ve found a brilliant way to defeat the "True BBEG" of TTRPGs: Scheduling.
Instead of a fixed cast for a multi-year game, Eli uses a rotating cast.
A new cast of players steps in for every circle of Hell.
The characters remain the same, but the players change. Different people are collectively growing and shaping one character into a full person as they descend deeper into the pit.
From Home Games to Digital Stages
Streaming Rainbow started as a home game. Inspired by Brennan Lee Mulligan and Dimension 20, Eli gathered a group of strangers from the internet to play an "Unsleeping City" style campaign set in London.
The chemistry was so good that after a year and a half, they decided to launch their own channel. Eli’s background in digital storytelling, sound design, and music provided the technical backbone, while the rest of the founders brought skills in creative writing and project management.
