What a weekend! MysticCon 2025 successfully closed its two-day run on October 25th, leaving a trail of high-level adventure and community spirit in its wake. The convention was hosted by the excellent team of Morgan Dangerfield (author of The Heroes of Evermore) and Chris Peters (Professional Game Master), and masterfully MC’ed by Boser and T from ForGeeksbyGeeks. Simply put, it was a magical experience.
High Adventure at the Tables
With an array of play tables running games like Dungeons and Dragons, Daggerheart, and Monster of the Week, there was something for everyone! Our CEO was even able to run a one-shot for an incredible set of players, including one: Humphrey Wendell Wickham.
In their epic session, the party fought ganger octopi, trounced through a toontown-like garden where singing and dancing were mandatory, and finally crashed a vampiric wedding where the bridesmaids were ready to fight tooth and nail for the bouquet.

Panels and Live Play
Beyond the tables, the event offered a plethora of panels and workshops. From actual play sessions run by the one and only Luke Gygax, alongside deep discussions covering improv, story structure, and TTRPG industry insights. There was even a mini workshop hosted by Iron Tusk Painting, the official minis painter for Critical Role!
We were proud to contribute to the programming, with both our CEO and COO joining DiffenDice on the Community Building Content panel. It was a great opportunity to share tips for growing TTRPG communities through effective content creation.

The Marketplace Highlights
The vendor hall was a dangerous (and delightful) place for our wallets! We enjoyed seeing the incredible creativity on display, including a variety of home-brewed meads and countless handcrafted goods. Our top picks included:
- Brain Power Fitness for their innovative approach blending TTRPGs and physical fitness.
- The Saloon Vista for their uniquely flavored mead brews.
- The Goblin Guild for their inspiring work introducing tabletop roleplaying to a younger generation.
MysticCon was, at its core, a perfect celebration of the TTRPG community. We were honored to participate—not just as sponsors and panelists, but as passionate enjoyers of this industry. We got to meet and connect with numerous professionals and content creators who make this industry a joy to be a part of, including Tabletop Misfits, Idlywylde, and arcaneanthems, just to name a few.
If you happen to see details for MysticCon Year 3, consider this your official recommendation: snag a ticket and roll for initiative!
